Do you have any unusual World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see it on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, double-mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran.

Hate to rain on your parade, but uh... Saronite reacts somewhat violently to the Light. As in, it creates a great big explosion of Shadow energy that would be the World of Warcraft equivalent of a nuclear bomb that only killed living subjects.
Besides, the Dalaran financial budget would be better spent on building a better prison, perhaps with more than five prison guards on duty at any given time.

Thank you so much for picking my screenshot, WI! I'd just like to add that the toon's name in the picture is Daykin, from Arygos realm. :D
The picture came about when my swift birdy self was flying up to dalaran. I have fond memories of the "falling game" that druids used to play in the center of shat. So I flew up to the very very highest precipice of dalaran, and landed on the ledge. I looked over the edge. Woo boy, was I high up! After taking some pretty pictures, I noticed something that was kind of sort of important...I was counted as being within Dalaran, and thus, my flight form and flying mounts were disabled.
Needless to say, jumping from that ledge and furiously clicking the flight form button was a terrifying experience. :)
