One Boss Leaves: Keristrasza claws Cyanigosa

Last week, we launched a new series of Two Bosses Enter, One Boss Leaves, pitting the five-man instance bosses of the Wrath of the Lich King against one another. Our first death match turned dragon against dragon, cone effect against cone effect: Keristrasza of The Nexus vs. Cyanigosa of The Violet Hold.
Keristrasza emerges the easy victor from this battle, defeating Cyanigosa with three-quarters of the popular vote. Readers feel that not only is Keristrasza the more capable opponent, but her bondage lends her a deadly edge of passion and desperation. "Flying, porting, jumping or not, it's all irrelevant," comments Omegan01. "Really. Cyanigosa may be a stone cold killer, but Keristrasza is a f@@@ing psychopath. Five minutes flat and Keri's going to be back in her basement, wearing Cyanigosa's face and eating what's left of her. With some fava beans and a nice Chianti."

Can we get a bracket like we had for the first Two Bosse Enter, so that we know what fights to lok forward to?
Although granted, after like 4 weeks, you just stopped updating the brackets last time.

Can I suggest the next match?
Mutanus the Devourer (final Wailing Caverns boss)
vs.
Edwin VanCleef (final Deadmines boss)

Keristrasza:
Now stand aside, worthy adversary.
Cyanigosa:
'Tis but a scratch.
Keristrasza :
A scratch? Your arm's off!
Cyanigosa:
No, it isn't.
Keristrasza :
Victory is mine!
Cyanigosa:
Hah!
[kick]
Come on, then.
Keristrasza :
What?
Cyanigosa:
Have at you!
[kick]
Keristrasza :
Eh. You are indeed brave, but the fight is mine.
Cyanigosa:
Oh, had enough, eh?
Keristrasza :
Look, you stupid bitch. You've got no arms left.
Cyanigosa:
Yes, I have.
Keristrasza :
Look!
Cyanigosa:
Just a flesh wound.
[kick]
Keristrasza :
Look, stop that.
Cyanigosa:
Chicken!
[kick]
Chickennn!
Keristrasza:
Look, I'll have your leg.
[whop]
[Keristrasza claws Cyanigosa's right leg off]
Cyanigosa:
Right. I'll do you for that!
Keristrasza:
You'll what?
Cyanigosa:
Come here!
Keristrasza:
What are you going to do, bleed on me?
Cyanigosa:
I'm invincible!
Keristrasza:
You're a looney.
Cyanigosa:
The Blue Dragonflight always triumphs! Have at you! Come on, then.
[whop]
[Keristrasza claws Cyanigosa's last leg off]
Cyanigosa:
Oh? All right, we'll call it a draw.

I like how much space that took up.

I wonder who will fight against Loken... I feel bad for them already.
skreeran Jan 29th 2009 12:58PM
I think Mal'ganis might be the only one with the chutzpah to tangle with Loken. At least as far as 5-mans go.

I don't get teh big deal about loken...
Unless we have a boss who can't simply take a few steps back and wait for him to do his aoe then they should all beat him easily.
It isn't a hard fight unless your healer doesn't know how to move when told to.

When have you seen a boss take steps back?
These polls are boss against boss using the abilities they use AGAINST YOU.
So the question once again is:
How many boss's have you played that run from you when you cast a certain spell.
End.
Gormaggus Jan 29th 2009 6:13PM
Well, Loken would be hard-pressed to compete with Anub'arak's pound if they both refuse to move away from the abilities - especially as it would (theoretically) stun Loken and let Anub whale on him even more.
Kirtan Jan 29th 2009 12:57PM
well, it was more than obvious that Keristrasza was gonna win, considering how much ass-kicking it causes, she's almost as deadly as Loken (but he's still the worst)
Speaking of Loken, I can imagen him being in next Boss vs. Boss, against, lest say either Herald Volazj or Ley-guardian Eragos. That'd be quite a match. =)
Zhire Jan 29th 2009 1:04PM
Loken? Hmnn sorta far fetched but I think an earnest face off would be Neltharion (AkA Deathwing). I mean come on...Deathwing beat the crap out of Malygos, and now in EoE you need Alexstraza and her drakeling's help just to finish him off. Deathwing FTW.
Kirtan Jan 29th 2009 1:19PM
I think the point here is the boss fight who EXIST in the game atm, so Deathwing is out of the question
dragonbuster Jan 29th 2009 1:48PM
Loken would loose against Eregos, as Eregos's normal attacks do the same dmg as Loken's Lightning Nova. And Eregos got 3,875,788 Hp and loken got 512,278 Hp. Oh and Loken dont have time stop for Eregos's enrages:D
Ley Guardian Eregos> Loken
Gormaggus Jan 29th 2009 6:16PM
Remember that we're talking about a level playing field here - health and damage are scaled so they're evenly matched.
So it might actually be closer than that, although I admit Eregos's enrages might wipe 'im.
