I see you've come back into the fold as well: I used to play a horde character, switched to alliance, and just recently switched back. A lot of that was about the people I was playing with, though.However, I couldn't disagree more with your opinions about blood elves. I play one myself, and although there are plenty of people who play blood elves who exemplify the stereotypes about them, I view them as the most dynamic race in the game: all their old traditions have been blown away and they're searching for a place in the world while trying to keep up their front as an ancient and powerful race. Some blood elves are obsessed with their arrogance, some are trying just as hard to prove themselves to the (rightfully) skeptical horde. Look at the Allegiance to the Horde questline. It's an interesting balance.
