Daniel Howell contributes BigRedKitty, a column with strategies, tips and tricks for and about the Hunter class, sprinkled with a healthy dose of completely improper, sometimes libelous, personal commentary.
Although the movie covers a great deal about the addon, something we didn't mention was the fact that one can export and import codes for any aura one creates. On the continued page, you'll find the codes for all seven auras we demonstrate in the movie.
Here are importable codes for the auras we used in our movie. The codes are very long so they don't work well with the formatting features here. We've made little text files you can download. /win
Hunter's Mark - when the enemy no longer has any hunter's Hunter's Mark applied.
Lock and Load - when Lock and Load has proc'd.
Aspect of the Viper - when the hunter has cast Aspect of the Viper.
Low Mana - when one's mana-level is at or below 5% of capacity.
Full Mana - when one's mana-level is at or above 95% of capacity.
Explosive Shot - when the Explosive Shot debuff applied to the enemy and shows the two-second countdown clock.

BRK! Do a video detailing your shot rotation. I'm new to (new)SV spec and would like to learn a bit more about how things work.

Dude, BRK is new to SV as well. You can do some research as easily as you can!
I'm not an e-celeb like BRK, but maybe i can get you pointed in the right direction.
Survival has shot priorities, not a set rotation. Priorities go SS (up at all times) ES>KS (when up)>AS>SS. At any given time use the most powerful shot you have ready. Never ever use arcane shot, since it shares a CD with Explosive. I have completely removed arcane from my bars. Thats the basics of it, I've only been survival since the patch like most of us, and i am learning more aout the spec every time I raid. I'm sure someone is gonna tell me what a huntard I am, and that my sauce is weak, but thats ok.

The explosive shot poweraura is not really usefull this way. You want it to start when you fire the shot, not when it lands on the target, due traveltime of bullets/arrows.
Asume you dont move, then you want 2 seconds between fireing explosive shot. You can fire explosive shot again before the last tick ticked, as long as it ticked when the shot will hit the target.
What you want is:
ES+timerstart->2sec->timerend+ES
What you got now is:
ES->traveltime->timerstart->2sec->timerend+ES
So far the only way I saw to do the first is with Quartz and then adding this to your explosive shot macro: /qt ESDot 2
That will start a 2nd timer when you press that macro.

I'm a memory freak, and trying to keep my addon list clean and simple.
If your already using Mike's scrolling battle Text (Like BRK is), You can configurate Mike's addon to show the same announcements (Except Serpent sting, which I haven't check yet).
Save one extra addon :-)

Seems that BRKs site and the video hosting has been suspended..
Possibly GhostCrawler didn't want any more negative feedback on BM spec, and had it shot?
More likely, 100mb is big, and a lot of people wanting to see it, overdosed his bandwidth allocation?

PowerAuras is awesome for showing you when Procs come up. I set it to show me when Surge of Light procs on my Priest, as that gives me a free instant Smite or Flash of Light.. now I KNOW exactly when it's available, and how long I have to take advantage of it.
For my Warrior, it's indispensable - Stance notification, Shouts, Rend, Overpower and Execute availablity, Sunder counts & timer.
My only comment on BRK's setup.. you don't have to do everything as an 'aura' around the toon.. There's only so much space directly around you char, and having multiple auras around the char up at the same time is visually cluttered. BRK does a good job of making them distinct. However, you can place these auras NEAR your char, and not just surrounding it.
