Replenishment: What are the odds?

I'm using my SP for raiding now (instead of my lock), and i'm extremely disappointed in the way replenishment works. I was under the impressions that I would always get my own buff (which is the case in 5 and 10 man runs), but last week I intentionally watched for the buff and it seemed like I was getting it less than 50% of the time.

I find myself needing every bit of mana regen I can get in some of the longer Naxx fights, and it pisses me off to no end to not get my own buff...
