If you're playing arenas for fun, then the change is that you will actually win more with the new system. If you're playing for gear, it means you have to be competitive to get it. This syetm makes it so that the people playing for gear and the people playing for fun don't have to waste their time matching up against each other. Its not perfect, but aside from the ego hit of having a low rating, where are you really being hurt?
