If you have 2 alts that use the same armor class (plate, mail, leather, cloth) and its the same kind of armor (spell power gear vs melee) then yes, its worth it.
If I read correctly, thats 20 levels with a 10% boost to experience gains that you are getting from your stones/badges. I personally suggest getting the badge ones, and not the stone keeper ones b/c the stat budget is wasted on resil (unless you are a hardcore pvp/ganker).

Long story short: you have 2 melee's that wear plate? Get the shoulders.
