Personally, I'd love to see weapons that scale with a player's toon, particularly a DK's Runeblade. Quests to learn the blade's innate abilities are you level enough to handle them...I mean, isn't that sort of in line with the Lich King's own progression with Frostmourne? By endgame, a DK looks just like a warrior.

Frankly, I HATE that everyone at level 80 uses the same weapons and gear. My hunter still has his Sin'dorei Warblade simply because it's beautiful. It would be a joke to use it at his level, but what's he got instead? A generic Northrend hunkastone sword (or axe) that every warrior/rogue/pally uses. He won't even have it long enough to justify the expense of putting a decent enchant on it (not with saving for Cold Weather Flying, which is a much higher priority).

If someone is willing to go to the expense and trouble to chase a Legendary, for heaven's sake he/she should be able to use it the rest of his WoW life if he wants.
