I was explain why neither tree is subpar at healing, as well as why they're considered subpar, but I don't think an arena goon would very much care what a raider has to say. But in a nutshell: Holy priests are supposed to heal everyone that the real healers can't get to, aka raid healing. This patch makes it easier for them to do that.
