I hope that ammo (relic like thingamadoodles) will be a LOT easier to get than Relics, Totems, etc as a Hunter needs the Ammo early on, far sooner than any other class, perhaps 1 base Ammo (Relic) per base buyable ammo, replacing specalty ammo such as the Timeless Shells with a Timeless Shell (Relic) for Rep ammo.
And an equivalent of what we are getting from engineers with Kirin Tor Rep.
A BIG Upside I see to this is more powerful ammo being attained like other classes get their relics, totems, etc in raids. Possibly an engineer BOP that they can make to encourage Hunter engineers, BOE wouldnt be feasable because the market would dry up as hunters got theirs, opposed to always having to buy more as they raid
also I hope that they find a fair way of preserving the speed bonus from a quiver, perhaps look at what level of quiver gave what speed bonus up to the 15% we are all used to, and make it a skill, and not a talent, that way we dont have to waste points to regain what we lost
the other HUGE Upside is it opens a bag slot, Hunters have always had to dedicate a slot to a quiver, if not for storage, but for the speed increase
I see a lot of potential for this change, but a lot of room for Blizzard to bend Hunters over and Donkey Punch us again

I'm sure that the current grades of ammo will still be around. It won't be a "relic" because they go in the ranged slot, which hunters will still be using for their bow/gun. They were just saying that some high level ammo might have similar effects to relics (such as improving a particular ability).
