Our "Big" items are a DPS gun that get replaced by Naxx-10 drops, a tanking gun that is only not replaced because nothing is as good going back to BC content (see MaxDPS for citation, oh and you only need one of these guns), Goggles replaced by Naxx-10 drops, and a Bike which is not even exclusive to Engineers. Our new vendorbot is less useful then the old one (no more reagents), our ammo sales are going away, the market is flooded with most other things (see: Gnomish Army Knives). Not one of our explosives is even mildly useful.

Engineering SUCKS right now. There is absolutely nothing compelling about this profession. This isn't about compensation, it's kicking a profession when it's down. WoW is about engineers. It's a defining world characteristic, and lore-and-game wise, it's being left behind, and IMHO, that sucks.
