The ingame system has very little in the way of customization. It's very easy to set Ventilo so that everyone's voice is "normalized" and you don't have to turn people up or down; even if you do it's got a lot of granular control.The in-game system is very basic and if the person on the other end has any problems at all (such as a poor mic) it's very frustrating. Often times to the point that no matter what you do you can't get everyone in the group to an acceptable or uniform level.
