Maintenance extended until 1PM PST
Unsurprisingly, today's maintenance has been extended an extra two hours. It's somewhat expected, with today being a patch day.All of us can cope with the little extension, I'm sure. If anything more comes out of this, we'll be sure to let you know. Whether it be further extensions or issues, or even the servers coming up earlier than expected, we'll be here to keep you informed!

They should really just plan maintenance until 1pm, and bring realms up early in the rare situation that they are done.
Firestride Feb 10th 2009 2:05PM
They do one better: half the time they extend maintenance for two hours, the realms are up 45 minutes after the original time. This has lately been a safe bet, but I was wrong about it the last patch day, so I'm not going to fully predict a Firestride for today.
Firestride Feb 10th 2009 2:59PM
Aww heck, they got me again. It was a Firestride after all!
Lorade Feb 10th 2009 10:50PM
Awesome.... it extends into the two hours that I would have had to play before work. Great.
Kaphik Feb 10th 2009 1:56PM
Holy crap, not again. Not surprised, but jeez, not again.

Can we ban the idiots who insist on saying first? These kids are annoying.
Well guess I'll pop a movie in and do some more laundry before class.

I delete 'em when I see 'em.
Yeng Feb 10th 2009 2:01PM
Awesome, they deleted the 'first' post. Justice is served!
Kakistocracy Feb 10th 2009 2:16PM
Can we delete the posts complaining about "firsts" too (and the ones complaining about the a fore mentioned posts)?
Yeng Feb 10th 2009 2:19PM
If they don't exist then we don't have to complain about them.
How bout we delete the ones complaining about the complainers? :D
Monzul Feb 11th 2009 3:29AM
Don't delete the first posts. Move them down to like 40th or so if you can that way when people see them they can call them a dumb ass.
Jamesisgreat Feb 10th 2009 2:48PM
Is there some sort of scoreboard for these losers where they all tally up who was 'first' the most that month, and whomever 'wins' gets his epeen stroked by all the others?
Because I really don't understand why they do it - what sort of gratification is there in it? Maybe it's just the confirmation of being a complete dick that they need?
Anyway, good job on deleting the bugger!
Deadly. Off. Topic. Feb 10th 2009 4:25PM
LOL! A scoreboard.
Hey you, you were at the top of the list for "Firsts" - this is your gift to you: -$500.00. That's right, you owe us 500 bucks!

No, we shouldn't be surprised but what about Bliz!
They seem to always under estimate the time needed for a patch. When will Bliz not be surprised?
Or do they really believe their own estimates?

Isn't it a little surprising that a company that can develop such an amazing game like wow can't run a business for crap? Imagine how successful this game/company would be if they had any half-way intelligent people working in their IT department.
