Around Azeroth: Passionate kisses

Hey, folks, remember to send in your Valentine's screenshots! Now, I've seen pictures of in-game weddings before, but never one with such a ... unique couple. Shadowdrak and girlfriend Zlopocasna of <Guards of Alliance> on Drak'thul-EU tied the knot in the Temple of the Moon, but unfortunately the priestesses forgot to supply Shadowdrak with the ladder necessary to kiss the bride. Fun fact of the day: according to my googling, "zlo pocasna" translates roughly as "bad honor" in Bosnian. "Pocasna Salva" is also a Bosnian anti-war song. The more you know!
Do you have any unusual World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see it on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, double-mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran.
Love is in the Air and on WoW Insider. Check out our continuing coverage of the event and our guide to earning the achievement. And you better hurry; the holiday only lasts five days!Filed under: Screenshots, Around Azeroth, Galleries

Well, knowing Drak´thul - EU as being Czech Republic/Slovakia server, the name "Zlopocasna" is taken as a name of one of characters in T.Pratchett Discworld series, to be exact Granny Weatherwax.
Shadowdrak Feb 12th 2009 10:31AM
Bingo! You are right, We are czech and that's exactly name of Pratchett's character ;)

Really! I'm a huge Discworld fan, and that name does seem to suit Granny quite well.

I always thought it sounded better as Czechoslovakia. The Czech Republic just doesn't inspire the same fear as it's old name.
You know, throwing diplomacy and actual matters aside.
Shadowdrak Feb 12th 2009 10:44AM
Yes, it sounded horrible. But you didn't heard it in Czech, because then you wold be feared at 100 percents :D Call us, as you wish.

Wow. Not just an IRL couple who both love the game getting married, but an interspecies in-game couple.
That's some Double Win right there. ^_^
