There's been a lot of chatter lately about Love is in the Air. Some achievements necessary to get the Fool for Love aren't exactly working as expected (at least for us players). But we've got you covered.After the break you'll find a concise listing of what you need to know to get the Fool for Love achievement done, as well as pointers to other places to look for more information. Don't forget to check back here and send us a tip if you notice things amiss.
And remember, you only have until Sunday to finish everything up. And if you're like me Saturday night will be a solid no-WoW night, so you probably need to do everything tonight and tomorrow night. Unless of course Kara Thrace is your other girlfriend, in which case Friday night is out too.

The Bouquet of Red Roses is no longer part of the holiday achievement. Let me rephrase and state very clearly:
In order to get My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose you just need to obtain the Bouquet of Ebon Roses – NOT the Bouquet of Red Roses. You can get the Bouquet of Ebon Roses from:
- Maiden of Grief in the Halls of Stone
- Prince Keleseth in Utgarde Keep
- Prince Taldaram in Ahn'kahet: The Old Kingdom.
Everyone loves Stormwind Harbor. But it's had too much love. So much so that if you give a guard a Love Token they'll give you jack squat in return.
So don't give any Stomrwind Harbor guards Love Tokens and you'll be just fine.
I Pitied The Fool and Naxxramas
There has been a lot of confusion, and many players have incorrectly reported that you can earn part of the I Pitied The Fool achievement by dropping your targeting dummy outside Naxxramas. You can't. You have to go into the instance and drop it. The same applies to The Culling of Stratholme.

I believe you're a bit mistake there, or I've read this incorrectly (sorry if this has been covered.)
Either the red or ebon roses will give you the achievement. Last night, I got together with 3 friends and killed Prince Keleseth in UK 4 times so we all got the boquet (on normal, obviously). The first two times, he dropped red roses. Both in our grop that won the roll (including myself) got the achievement. The last 2 times, he dropped ebon roses, and the last two in our group picked them up... and got the achievement.
Best I can tell, the rose color is random (the boss will drop a boquet... either red or black) and either one will give you the achievement.

I killed Prince Keleseth twice today.
he dropped ebon roses the first time and red roses the second time. both ebon and red bouquets completed the achievement.

I can't imagine and do not believe for one second that this is functioning as they intended it, and if it is... shame on them.
This is insanity. Total utter luck should not be a factor in these World Holidays. If this droprate is 3-5% as seems to be the case, and the average person will need to get 2 bags... the unlucky will need three and the cursed will need four+.
The math just doesn't work with the hour cooldown.
Especially heinous given that they make it so short and put it on a weekend when anyone with any hint of a life is going to try to take some time away from the game... in the spirit of the holiday this thing is modelled after! Don't forget to go outside Azeroth, indeed.
Complete cluster on Blizz's part. Personally I think someone missed a zero on the drop percentage. I really hope "looking into" means "doing something about".

"The Bag of Candies had a fairly reasonable drop rate and was in no way bugged; however, due to the random aspect of the achievement, we discussed it and did hotfix an increase in last night. While I'm aware that some of you dislike the chance aspect of this achievement, it will remain in the meta.
And just to dispel all the superstition around it, no NPC has a greater chance of giving out candies. They're all equal."

5 candy on one char so far ....rockets still not registering achievement :(

I finished the meta-achievement on thursday night, the candy bag was the real pita but eventually I got two and managed to get the achievement. Basically just grind the h3ll out of boxes of adoration. You have 2 more days so don't stress. It's funny WI don't link to other guides to this stuff, so here they are:

Log in every hour and roll the dice. Blue says that now the Bags drop as often as the other consumables.
Post hotfix I am 0 for 5 and counting, but man the world should fear the righteous anger of my love fool army when this is (mercifully) over.

The Bouquet of RED (not ebon) Roses dropped for me from Prince Keleseth in Utgarde Keep. I've got them equipped now.

im so pissed at this Holiday ggaaahh .... why is it so freaking hard to get some of these candy's i have gotten 5 baskets no pet like 30 love fools all the other crap and 2 bags of candy and im missing one just one what kinda crap is that it makes me wonder if its luck and i have such shitty luck why am i even gonna try this is soo frustrating omg and im gonna have to wait a year for this shit again lame y am i even trying i started doing this shit since the morning it started like 6 am and i fail how can you try ur hardest and fail im so mad at blizzard right now.......O.O
