Are you kidding? A dps shortage? I would be surprised if dual specs actually make it any easier to find a healer or a tank. I've ran with a ton of people who refuse to ever tank or heal, and dual specs aren't going to change that. I bet most people will have a PvE dps spec and a PVP dps spec.
I'm a Holy Paladin who has been planning on going prot for my 2nd spec since before 3.0. Lately though we haven't had any trouble finding tanks... so maybe I'll just go PVE Holy and PVP Holy. Actually, I'll still probably go prot, but I'm really not sure how often I'll use it, possibly just in the early morning when no one is on if we happen to find another healer.
