When I reached 80 after leveling with a feral DPS kitty, I promised the guild I'd try out Resto spec before making my decision on which spec to stick with. Tried it, and after a LOT of pain and days of not even wanting to touch my druid, decided that meelee was the way to go. Personally, the dual-spec system would come in handy if my guild ever needed me to fill in a healer slot badly. Really, REALLY badly. But any other time, I'll be frolicking as a yellow horned cat with loves her fight up close.
