Do you have any unusual World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see it on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, double-mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran.

Are there even angels in the myths of any of the races of Azeroth? Closest thing is the spirit healer I think.

There were Angels in Warcarft 1 era lore, I suppose.
And yes, this is a Titan temple, so likely this imagery means something to them.

The Dragons didn't build Wyrmrest, the Titans did. Thats where the Titans gave tehre power to the dragon aspects, it only makes since it would have titan like looks to it.

What's really funny is that, in one of the 1st edition D&D books, there's a cartoon of a bunch of wizards sitting around a table with books and dice, and one of them is saying to another who's standing nearby, "It's called Papers and Paychecks. We pretend to be workers in an industrialized world."

I think these "angels" are actually Valkyrie. One looks to have a shield in hand and another a sword. Having Valkyrie painted on the ceiling would make some sense with them being on a tower constructed by the Titans.

My question is if this is Titan, in both art and design, why is the angel on the top holding a shield with the Horde crest on it?

I always though it was titan-y stuff myself but your quite right, that does look like the horde symbol on that shield...
it most certainly has the titan edge, those angels are definately in the style of valkyrie rather than traditional "angels" per-say as they're very female and not at all androgynous.. and ofcourse they're armed.
Maybe the titans made it and some Orc graffitied it?

In Hall of stones at the hallway, I've seen a painting of what looks like 2 male angels holding hands.
