Tuesday Morning Post: I hate Peddlefeet edition

Certainly, those debates will probably rage into the future, but the news we're really hoping for is a 3.1 PTR. We've had a few false starts, but it's getting about time. Hopefully before March, at the least?
Regardless of whether we're getting a PTR or not, we do have downtime, from 5 AM to 11 AM Pacific time. That's a nice six hour chunk where you'll have to find something to do that is not playing WoW. May we suggest browsing WoW Insider? As always, we have a list of some of the week's hottest news after the break.

Wait. Whoa whoa whoa.
"The 2009 WoW Arena tournament was announced, and to sweeten the pot, participants will have a chance to win an armored Murloc pet."
Chance to win? It was said earlier that all that paid the fee and entered would receive the pet. Am I wrong?

I've got an open ticket in "Your ticket has been escalated" status for nearly 48 hours now. (Buggy items in my inventory) Do you think they'll use these couple of hours to finally fix it?
Yeah, I didn't think so either...

The article title was misleading. I was hoping to get to rant more about the peddlefoot drop rate and RNGs. I only got to do that for 8 hours on the blizz forum yesterday and it just wasn't enough.

I, for one, am not dissatisfied with the holiday....things fell in place for me quite easily on my main (only toon I really focused ok). Candy took a while to drop, but it wasn't unreasonable....and only took a box and a half. I got the title 2nd to the last day while casually doing the achievements.
As for my downtime today? One word.....laundry! =)

You do realize Ice Stone fiasco was merely a diversion for some yet unreleased evil that blizzard has planned???
