I guess it's a love it or hate it thing. I personally really like the vehicle combat. If they said "all raid encounters from now all will rely exlusively on vehicles" I'd be pissed, but to have a handful of vehicle encounters thrown in here and there is a nice way to switch things up a bit.

Yeah, I'm not too thrilled about the vehicles either. I like actually playing my character, thanks. Plus the vehicles are always bugging out.

One thing I do admire about the vehicle combat encounters like Eregos, is that, when you lose, it's flatly saying to you "you're not skilled enough, work harder", whereas the majority of other situations can be interpreted (partially) as "oh, guess I didn't hit the gear check then, will come back in two weeks after further farming of previous bosses".Although, a wide form of actual use of player abilities while on vehicles would be appreciated, rather than simply a firing turret on a siege engine. I'm wanting the motorbikes driven one-hand at 100mph across the battlefield while the mage at the handlebars spews pyroblasts galore, and the DucK riding shotgun uses "Black Ice" like a scythe from the war chariots of yore.

"Motorcycle drivers, for example, can create pools of liquid tar that snare opponents and can be set on fire by area effect attacks"I dunno...it sounds to me like this might be just what people are looking for with a vehicle system.Your driver is the a rogue/warrior or something...he leaves a trail of oil while the mage/hunter/warlock/paladin riding shotgun throws out a flamestrike/flaming arrow/rain of fire/holy fire onto it to light it up. At least that's how I interpreted it.Whatever people say, these vehicles sound MUCH less one dimensional than what we have in game...launching PLAYERS? We don't have that yet.

Aw come on, raiding is such a breeze right now, vehicle combat is the only thing giving anyone a challenge.

Yeah, I've calmed down now. It's actually fun; aslong as they fix the healing vehicle problem with the UI
