Maybe I'm just daft, but I still don't understand how this service is supposed to work. You sign up on their service, and then they "pay" you when realms are down...? What exactly do they pay you, money? Gold? Some other kind of obscure currency? Do they credit your account playtime? Surely that can't be it, because that would require access to Blizzard servers that no outsiders have access to...

Learn to read the article and maybe you'll see how they compensate you.
