Luckily resto shamans get most of their regen from MP5, which isn't being changed.

Not really. Just means us resto shamans will have to pickup the slack of the other healers. This can be both a good and bad thing. For example:

Carrying other spirit based healers through a raid already? 3.1 won't make much of a difference.

Holding your own against two very well played spirit based healers? 3.1 will make your job harder since they will have less mana to "waste" making you use more.

We will have to wait and see I suppose.
