What if I want to just change the payment method from credit card to game cards? I'm going to be moving out of country in April and will be cancelling my credit cards and buying some game cards before I go. Is there really no other way than to cancel the account?

When you cancel the account, you're only really cancelling your credit card subscription. There's no penalty for hitting the cancel button and then using the game card. You won't even have to stop playing.

I use the prepaid cards, because of my personal financial situation. Using the prepaid cards allows me to control how my money is spent. I did use a credit card (actually my bank debit card) when I first created my account, but then I got a prepaid card. I even called Blizzard's billing department and had them remove the credit card info, so it doesn't automatically renew. When my time runs out, i get the notice, and then decide if I can buy a new card right away or need to wait till my next paycheck or maybe next month.
