Heh, we decided to call the raid yesterday after lots of wipe on Grobbulus. It's quite frustrating to leave when the strat is good, but not the group. We severely lacked DPS yesterday, I just hope we're not going to get bored by the big fat boy and that we'll finally down him. In all cases, I'm getting bored to corpse-camp Arachnid, Plague&Military quarters :pWe are a kind of casual EU-guild, meaning many of us have a big play time, but don't like the "hardcore raiding" state of mind. Furthermore, we raid with IG friend out of our guild and sometimes pugs, as we are not enough to complete a raid by ourselves. Anyway, long time reader, first time poster, and sorry if my english may be bad. We french people, have many cheeses and wines, but not so good english classes ^^

Grobbypoo is all execution, very little strat. If you find yourself changing strategy, you're doing it wrong, its all about each person failing enough until they realize *they really really* have to get it right. Almost all of the strategies work fine if you execute well. We did wipe over 25 times before we got it down though. You have to really do that one night. We use a "tank constantly walking backwards around the room on walk speed" approach, where people are told to explode somewhere behind the tank, but not close enough to hurt melee dps. We also put all dps on the slime when it forms, and talk in a disapproving voice when we get multislimes on 10 man :ODI honestly say the only time we wipe on him anymore is when the OT suprises the MT when getting slimes by accidentally getting grobbulus too. And your english writing is better than many native english speakers.
