I get it Blizzard.People farm gold, and can easily get a few thousand a day if they work really hard.I do enough dailies to get by. Pay my repairs, buy Reagents, and occasionally buy stuff on the AH, send to alts, etc. Once I bought my epic flyer, and the Northrend flight training, I've been broke ever since.Kind of sucks, being forced to grind a ton of gold. If I was good at it in the first place, I wouldn't be worried. :/

You can earn heaps of gold just by doing quests. Not dailies, regular quests. Doing most of Northrend quests (half assed Icecrown, couldn't really bear it) netted me about 19k gold, if all vendor trash I collected is counted in. All that, just by simple, yet often fun quests. And then come the dailies. And gathered stuff. And rare drops sold on AH.If you will -want- to make money, you will do it, no matter the cost. If you just throw your hands in the air and say "baaaww, I suck, just gimme gimme", then no, you will get absolutely nothing, only spoil the game for others, when Blizz finally caves in to people like you. 1k gold is not much. Really, for a leveling tax it is a bit steep, but for an -OPTIONAL- feature for your character, it is nothing. Yes, shock horror, you DON'T HAVE TO grind that gold and even get a second spec. So no, you are not in any way, shape or form forced to do this.
