1,000 gold seems like a great balance for this ability, IF they remove the level requirement (currently 80).The original argument against letting this be available to lower level toons was that dual-speccing would be confusing to players just learning the game.By tacking on a moderately high cost, 1,000 gold seems just right, you take care of that problem. Any toon that has access to 1,000 gold in disposable income is likely either an alt belonging to an experienced player with greater resources, or a new player that has mastered enough of the intricacies of WOW to be able to handle the complexity of dual-speccing. (Being able to "play the system" well enough to earn 1,000 spare gold seems like a good benchmark for being able to handle dual-speccing. I will not consider those who purchase gold illegally in my argument. If they are emotionally invested enough in this feature to risk their accounts to get access to it, then they are ready to handle it. Stupid, but ready.)I say, keep the 1,000 gold price tag but drop the level requirements. Let those who can afford the cost take advantage of this optional feature, even at level 1.

See that would make me okay with it. If I was paying 1000 gold for something I'm using throughout leveling like that. I'd be okay with the grind needed to save that amount up.

/Agree with RylkaI don't think its very important how quickly this gets implimented because overall, I think dual speccing is just an added convenience, and not an important new dynamic. That said, I think Blizzard is already on the path to doing exactly what you're talking about... just not right off the bat.
