Well at first glance it seems they have nerfed the dps on Frost and made it even less attractive. I suppose the increase in damage of glacier rot balances out the decrease in howling blast, but there is still an overall 10% decrease in black ice that will affect howling blast and our main RP dump, frost strike. The added shadow damage effect of Black Ice may mean some advantage is gained by going unholy as a sub-spec for Necrosis and UB (though it would seem with HB being a 51 point talent you can't get that and UB). Overall I can't see how these changes will make frost dps more attractive. I had managed to squeeze my dps to a point where I was at least competitive with Unholy, but now it seems I am going to be well behind again, especially as they have buffed scourge strike. Well, I guess if you can't beat them, join them.
