ugh. huge nerf to DW frost DK's. what the hell. not only did they make howling blast something that only a lunatic would want (by making it the 51 point), they literally made it something that only a lunatic would want (by making it deal 50% less damage under normal use.)

Now the only skills DW frost can viably use (while maintaining some semblance of a sane spec) are ones that rely on weapon damage, which is stupid. -sigh- Ohwell. On to using a 2h and focusing on rebuilding my talents around one of the other two trees.

They made HB a 51-point because nobody was speccing deep into frost. ..

This QQ on them nerfing Frost is utter BS. They nerfed DWing, not the frost tree. And DW should be nerfed to the ground anyways.
Can't count the times I've been told that DKs are only supposed to be tanking with 2 weapons, I really hate blizz for giving DKs the DW skill...

I'm a DW frost/unholy DPS. The nerf makes me pretty much useless unless I use a 2h weapon, or spec all the way to the bottom of frost (again, making me useless).

I realize it's only the first day of the PTR being open, so things WILL change, but the point of making one's opinion heard about an utterly retarded* change is so that blizz will fix it. They need to choose one or the other - keep HB a 51 point and don't nerf damage -coughbuffitcough- or put it back to its original position in the tree, and keep the nerfed damage.

and before you spout off about tri-spec or 32/39, I'm 44/27. :|

*f'reals. who's the bonehead that thought nerfing the main DW skill so hard was a good idea? X_x

The current PTR build even has the brainiacs over at EJ ringing the death knell for ALL DW specs (not just the/my infamous 32/39). There is not a single spec that favors DW as the same spec will do more damage with a 2H due to strike scaling with weapon damage. It wouldn't have been so bad if they just moved HB out of reach of those speccing Impurity (the big booster for 32/39ish specs) AND nerfing its damage. No, they went even further by changing Necrosis to only proc on your main hand and BCB having a 3.0 sec IC. If this isn't clear message from Blizzard devs that they want to stop DW as a DK, I don't know what is. All that being said, I will give people a little more time to test on the PTR before I start rolling on 2Handers again.
