More patch 3.1 information, this time the Noble Garden achievement revamp.
Noble Garden is an Easter like celebration, complete with eggs and all other sorts of festivities. The event has been rather mundane in the past, especially compared to some other events like the fire festival or Halloween, but that appears to no longer be the case.
You might be wondering why the Playboy Bunny is displayed as this article's image.
Well, one of the
achievements for the Noble Garden is to "
Use Spring Flowers to place rabbit ears upon females of at least 18th level." And that to me just screams getting the title "Hefner," and I mean, Kendra was 18. So it's all good.
The list of Noble Garden achievements after the break.

Yay, cross-dressing time.
zappo Feb 24th 2009 3:56PM
Too bad the tuxedo shirt was required. Otherwise you could wear the dress and the pants, then kiss yourself for all sorts of wrongness.
Jamesisgreat Feb 24th 2009 2:32PM
All this talk of Noblegarden Chocolates is giving me bad flashbacks to those damn bags of candies..... Please let us take a break from RNG achievements, even if it's just for this holiday!
dfgreat1 Feb 24th 2009 2:33PM
will this be part of "what a long strange trip it's been" now? i hope not. if it is they better extend the time limit
bashfullson Feb 24th 2009 2:36PM
since failing the RNG with "be mine", I cant be arsed to do any achievements regarding holidays since the mount is now unavailable for me.
Narlic Feb 24th 2009 3:13PM
@bashfullson, my own inclination to participate in these seasonal events has also been diminished greatly by knowing that I've been screwed out of a drake by sheer luck. With that said, I'll probably attempt to complete it half-heartedly, knowing that if I maybe get all of the remaining seasonals done I could perhaps get the drake this time next year.
Mutak Feb 24th 2009 3:28PM
I hear ya bash! It sucks that this year was the only year you could do those achievements and that the reward won't be available to anyone who does it next year.
(/sarcasm)
The Claw Feb 24th 2009 3:46PM
As the philosopher Homer once said, "Kids, you tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try."
Sorrel Feb 25th 2009 5:25AM
I DO hope they extend the time! So far I never even saw Noble Garden because I always was away visiting family.
NoDrake4Me Mar 2nd 2009 4:37PM
I won't be seeing a drake ever as a result of the meta achievement due to a number of factors, not the least of which were the untimely appearance of hurricane Ike last year during Brewfest, the despicable RNG that saw fit to only award me 2 of the candies I needed and 0 black dresses (among 3 alts no less!).
I could be far more forgiving of the RNG since it is entirely random but for the fact that for over a month it kept giving the same 2 cooking dailies every day, one of them being the ever popular Convention at the Legerdemain. Ugh.
DeathPaladin Feb 24th 2009 2:34PM
Since they have these achievements, are they planning on getting a 3.1 release before Easter?
It's easy to take one's time when creating a new world event like the Tournament, but Noblegarden is an already established event with a definite lack of achievements on live. Just makes me think that putting new achievements on the PTR for the closest upcoming holiday means that they have an expectation for when they will be finished.
Corazu Apr 5th 2009 7:46PM
They've said multiple times that they've changed Noblegarden...it's not the same as it was, it is entirely new as well.
tokelazor Feb 24th 2009 2:38PM
I hope this means they're expecting the patch to be out prior to the event calendar date (April 12th)!
BulletzBill Feb 24th 2009 2:53PM
I wouldn't be suprised if its out by then. Gives it about a month and a half of testing on the PTR, seems reasonable to me.
