Having said that, who cares? Go out and FARM your ammo soulshard style, then have the ammo not stack, and use your ammo to summons people because they forgot to buy ammo, oh wait...............

Oh my, you must have it so hard with blizzard forcing you to create ammunition during a raid on trash pulls. Hunters, as of now, have to spend hundreds of gold on engineering ammo, I have no sympathy for Warlocks until this gets nerfed.

It is slightly less convenient than that when you are running instances for guildies where the MOBs are too low a level to get shards from. Only green MOBs drop shards, and then only if you have the right spell up when the MOB dies.
I'm lucky in that I'm Affliction specced and so don't use shards regularly in my attack rotation.
Right now even the most obsessively prepared of us warlocks don't walk out the door with more than ~50 shards (and that takes two bag slots). If you can't get more shards where you are playing for whatever reason, you have to curtail your spell choices. At least hunters can walk around with thousands of arrows/bullets.
