WoW Insider's Argent Tournament gallery

We had to check it out, of course. There are a few quests you can do right off the bat, but they're not particularly exciting. The first two quests you pick up are just some gathering quests. It gets a little more exciting from there, but I was honestly much more interested in the visuals of the event. While there's obviously a lot of development still happening there (lots of placeholder tags), what is done looks really awesome. When this event goes live, I have no doubt we'll see a lot of people going back to using their racial mounts once these new skins have been added in.
Just south of the tournament, there also seems to be a failed Frost Wyrm resurrection site, a Death Knight's blade jutting out of the ice with a wyrm just below the surface. I wish we knew the story behind that!

Judging from the screenshots posted, Darnassus (my home town) kind of got the short straw on the new mounts. They look like a Mistsaber with darker blue jewels. I'm an engineer as well, and might have to go with Gnomer just for the mechanostriders with FLAMES.

They look like SPECTRAL Mistsabers to me. Anyone who wanted an Ethereal tiger on Alliance looks like they just got their wish.
So far, looks to me like Stormwind was hosed, using the level 40 Paladin mount. It's probably temporary though.

To each his own. I really like the way they look. I've never been entirely happy with the color choices for the current saber mounts. These fit the bill nicely, IMHO.

Those are some MANLY, MANLY striders. This only on the Arena realm, or some sorta huge event going on?

You can champion all of them. It is actually a meta-achievement to do so.

Awesome!!! After reading through I haven't seen, but I'm assuming that by championing a city you build up rep with them. Is that a safe assumption? Cause then everyone will be unlocking all kinds of Achievements!

Finally... non-paladin's can get a paladin-style horse! Stormwind FTW!
Also: That mechanostrider is a true, unadulturated BAMF. And the Undead charger looks cool, too... wonder if that glow is a constant thing?
Also2: I love that Ironforge's champion is a female. Girl dwarves are very underrated.

I like the Stormwind mounts, too. They all look neat enough, except--as noted--the mistsaber-in-blue. And the kodo, I guess; I don't see enough kodos to know what's different, but it just looks bland to me.
Great news that we can champion all the cities, and that it's a permanent event. I hope to try more out on the PTR (almost finished the lumber quest before the world server crashed) but I can't wait for it to go live!
That Sword In The Stone area will probably gain a big crowd when it's time to have someone draw out the sword. Getting a frostwyrm mount would be pretty neat, but I'd expect that as more of an Arthas-raid drop or raid-rep reward than from this. But I wouldn't mind at all if it WAS from this event!

I dunno. The Paladin level 30 mount isn't epic, and it doesn't look epic. A little disappointing to see it used there, but I wouldn't want them to use the Charger either.
But if you guys are happy riding around on the Pally non-epic, more power to you.

I'm thinking Sword in the Stone, ties in with the other medieval jousting and such.
