Two Bosses Enter: Gal'darah vs. Krystallus

Loosen up those fingers and get ready to post your theory on who will come out on top in this week's Two Bosses Enter matchup: Gal'darah of Gundrak versus Krystallus from Halls of Stone. It's Impale against Petrifying Grip and Shatter – who's doing what, while who's out of commission?
As always, the basics: assume that the two bosses share similar levels, health pools and damage output, that any crowd control abilities they have affect one another, and that they are fighting on neutral territory. Because one of Krystallus' key abilities (Shatter) is designed for use against multiple opponents, we'll allow its effects against Gal'darah here. Other than that, we're out to debate the three S's: Style, Story and Scale. Don't get caught up in game mechanics and what players might do in each encounter. Consider the flavor each villainous gladiator brings to bear, then cast your vote for who you think would come out on top.
Gal'darah (Gundrak)Gal'darah, the High Prophet of Akali, is the last boss of Gundrak. During battle, he summons Spirit Rhinos that charge opponents, knocking them back and dealing significant damage. Gal'darah periodically morphs into Rhino form, Impaling combatants with Puncture damage and immobilizing them on his horn for 5 seconds. His Whirling Slash: nasty, just nasty.
- Enrage 125% attack speed increase for 10 seconds
- Whirling Slash Vicious AoE damage
- Puncture Stacking DoT
- Impale Randomly impales an opponent, immobilizing for 5 seconds and dealing damage
Krystallus (Halls of Stone)The Collosus Krystallus resides in the Halls of Stone. He relies on immobilization, Petrifying and then Shattering opponents -- designed to wreak havoc among multiple opponents, but we'll allow the use of it here against Gal'darah. Will it be enough to bring Krystallus through the battle?
- Boulder Toss
- Ground Spike
- Shatter Because Krystallus' Shatter ability was designed for use against multiple opponents, we'll allow its effects to go off automatically against a single opponent here.
- Stomp
The smackdown
Remember: no group-tactic or game-mechanic nitpicking. Vote for the spirit of the battle as set forth above. Remember: we will allow Krystallus' Shatter to affect Gal'darah in this one-on-one duel. Other than that, set aside differences in opponents' health pools, game level and actual damage output, and size up these villains based on their fighting style.
What's your reasoning behind who ends up victorious? Post your comments -- let's come up with what goes down!

Lets apply some reason to the fight. If we assume all attacks are effective Gal'darah is gonna take win this ez.
First of even tho Krystallus shatter work in 1 vs 1 it still wont do any real dmg since its still only 1 thats affected. His Boulder Toss and Ground Spike can both be avoided by moving and just removed by the think skin of a rhino. For god sake (inc pun), Gal'darah killed a god and took his power. A Elemental got nothing against it. The fight is over when Gal'darah transform into a rhino and impale Krystallus crotch.

So you say assume all attacks are effective, then say Krystallus's shatter won't do much damage?
How is that effective?
And I'm not sure this argument that Gal'darah took a god's power is a good one. If it were, how could we the players stand against him? We're not even a big giant crystal elemental.

But then you assume that a big piece of rock is the most powerful in a world of lets face it magic. Thrall or Rhonin is the most powerful because of the awesome physical strength or enormous stamina.
We defeat Krystallus by using Magic (spells) and Magic (items).
The tank for example got a enchanted sword the can cut through the rock hard skin of a elemental.
Since Gal'darah got the power of a f**king god he should have the power to blast through the rock skin. Thats how we defeat Krystallus and thats how Gal'darah will.

This isn't a question of who's the most *powerful* in the world but facing two bosses against each other, and giving them a rough parity so as to focus on their abilities rather directly.

In my opinion it's a one sided fight. Krystallus would emerge dominant from the duel.
Krystallus is made of a combination of rock and diamond-hard crystals. No troll weapon or animal charge is going to take down a stone colossus.
Gal'darah's intelligence clearly outweights Krystallus', but once we get into fighting style, I can't see him having any chance against a 9 ton living piece of earth. His rhino summons would merely bounce off the giant like popcorn; I can't see an animal a 10th of the size of him making him budge. As for his whirlwind and the rend - that would be like getting blood out of a stone. Lastly, transforming himself into a rhino may increase his armour and resistance to Krystallus' stuns, but he'll still looks like a squishy guinea pig from 10m above.

Punture is a bleed effect so i don't think it will be his with no blood. Please don't do "the rock has no vunerable spots" joke again. I'm just gonna say Krystallus without ellaboration this week.

This isn't a a comment about who would win, but rather a request.
Would you put the option "It's a draw" at the top, I've noticed people usually vote for whatever is at top just to vote so whatever boss is listed first seems to win. by putting "It's a tie" at the top of the voting list this (probably) wouldn't be a problem.

I was actually thinking the same thing myself, it may be something worth doing.

Once again "poll bias" shows it self. The top choice on the poll has won every match so far. Coincidence?

I'm gonna have to go with Gal'darah. I understand that Krystallus is a massive chunk of rock. However, we puny mortals can cut through that stone with relative ease.
I would have to say that a god infused super troll will be able to cuisanard through that stone like a hot knife through butter. Never mind that those spirit rhinos aren't quite material, and so may ignore the stone factor, and the rhino form is literally taken from a god. Gal is not a normal rhino. That horn of his may be far tougher than mere stone.
Besides all that, Gal'darah is simply much cooler, is actually part of a plot line, instead of being some random monster, and c'mon, he's a troll, trolls rule!

IT'S A ROCK! IT DOESN'T HAVE ANY VULNERABLE SPOTS!

I'm going to have to say Krystallus. Against him, Gal'darah's impale is a death sentence. Against small targets, like players, it's an awesome ability. But against something that weighs as much as and is as solid as Krystallus, it's suicide. Gal'darah could never lift Krystallus off the ground, it would crush him. On the other hand, Krystallus has a nice view of Gal'darah's unprotected back and shatters his spine with a few well placed punches as Gal'darah tries to remove his horn from deep inside Krystallus. Height and weight advantage wins out.
