Before I had started raiding in WotLK I got a tell asking me to tank Sarth for a PUG. The tell wen't something like: "we've allready cleared the other bosses so it should be quick!" ...after the second wipe, a guy I had pugged heroics with before who I assume threw my name in there as they searched for tanks whispers me and says: "dang that's the 5th time, I'm almost ready to call it" and he informed me that the reason I was invited was because the previous MT (a druid with 25k HP) had been demoted to OT and the previous OT (a DK in leveling greens and blood spec) had been kicked. So we re-organized, and agreed to give it one last shot. I was the last man standing...Sarth had 2.5k hp when I died. So close, yet so far. We called it after that.
