WRUP: Is anyone on the live realms? edition

Now could you please, perhaps, let us log on? Just for a little while?
Oh, right, and if anyone wants to know what the WoW Insider team is up to -- just log on to the test realm. (Or if the world server is down, as it so often is, you can keep reading.)
Adam Holisky: Sons of Hodir gets to exalted this weekend on my Shaman.
Alex Ziebart: Leveling some random alt, whichever one will be able to get groups easier than my Prot Paladin. Why oh why do I play on one of the only servers with a surplus of tanks? Dual Spec cannot come fast enough. If I'm not doing that, I'll be dinking around on the PTR getting my bug testing on.
Allison Robert: 10-man Sarth 3D this weekend, and hopefully some testing on the PTR to evaluate changes to Druid talents and glyphs. There haven't been massive changes for Balance, so I'm mostly interested in seeing Savage Defense at work for bears, looking into the Savage Roar change for cats, and comparing Nourish to Regrowth.
Amanda Miller: I will probably do some light farming before we slaughter Malygos on Sunday.
Daniel Whitcomb: I'm actually remarkably close to Chef de Cuisine. I only have the Horde recipes and Dirge's Kickin'
Chimaerok Chops to go. So, I think I may actually organize BWL and AQ40 fun runs to get the rep and quest drops I need to start on the sceptre questline so I can get the recipe. Also, I'm about 10 Badges of Honor away from a new breastplate, so I'll probably try to finish off a few more heroics for those if all else fails.
Dan O'Halloran: Now that my Resto Druid is level 80, I'll be looking for Naxx-10 groups. But I love to level so am choosing between alts to focus on next. Right now it's between Hunter, Warlock and Death Knight. DK may be the winner as I would like to play him more before the 3.1 changes happening to the class.
Elizabeth Wachowski: I'll probably be leveling my Warlock's professions and doing more Northrend quests on my Paladin. Also Fallout 3 and Mass Effect, as usual.
Jennie Lees: Going to be testing Ulduar tonight, if the European PTRs hold up. Other than that, nothing planned -- cleared all content twice already, and that's enough for my fragile sanity.
Lisa Poisso: Blowing things up in as many different ways as possible, and healing no one. At all. Even once.
Matthew Rossi: If I play at all (which is doubtful) it'll be casual stuff. Maybe level an alt, or go do some old world achievements on my Tauren, or even help lowbies do some instances. Generally going to take it easy in-between stressful IRL stuff.
Matt Low: Not much planned here. Maybe do some more blogging. Possibly hit up the PTR again and play around with the Priest as Holy instead.
Michael Gray: I'm trying desperately to finish up my Darkmoon Nobles deck. Darkmoon's still a little bit away, but I'd like this goblin-gypsy-shaped monkey off my back.
Zach Yonzon: More PvP. I'm pretty boring that way.
So that's what we're playing this weekend, but, dear readers, what are you playing?

"to fall like this for testing hardware"
What hardware are you testing on the PTR, is there some new server racks we regular players havent heared of?
Arawn Feb 28th 2009 6:14AM
ATI cards aren't working correctly on the PTR. they're not showing cooldowns on buttons.

Haha, fail.
Yeah... software not hardware. Best of luck to all of you on the ptrs I'm gonna keep getting emblems for my own gear and leveling gear for my alts.

You missed first by 6 minutes. That's only 72 seconds per letter O.o
You can't imagine how long this comment took to type up...

We'll be escorting our newest guildmate through her first dungeon completion tonite, with at-level alts, at her pace.
LFM DM to VC.
Time to queue up "DeadMines Battle" by Captain Dan and the Scurvy Crew on Rhapsody and ease into babysitting mode.

I never play on the PTRs for a couple of reasons... first I like to be surprised by the new content, and second I feel I am wasting my time.
I was in the WoTLK beta test for example and spent maybe an hour fiddling around before I gave the account key to someone else. I just don't want to ruin the later journey when it goes live.

I'm going to be finishing leveling my main (66 Pally) to 80, so I can finally get into endgame for the first time.

Cba to do anything on ptr.
Just got my shaman to lvl 80, which means speccing enhance for a big-ass questing spree in Storm Peaks and Icecrown to get some gold to spend on gear (and save for dual specs) before hitting heroics as resto. Damn am I proud, leveled as Resto from 45 to 80 pretty much non-stop, over 80% of all exp from instances. Oh, and dinged 80 by discovering almost the same area my warrior dinged 70 in, back in the BC days.
That, and going for some undead-killing spree on Naxxramas on Sunday, probably tanking and raid-leading the two easy quarters to pave way for a Monday clear(because we would only have Thaddius, Sapphiron and Kel'Thuzad left if all goes according to plan).

I seriously just did naxx25 a bit ago, first time with my new guild. I'm gearing my rogue so they'll actually let me ROLL on gear. So heroics heroics heroics.
My pally is probably gonna try to get on the PTR after i reach around 28k health see if anyone wants me to tank Uldaur. A man can hope for good rolls.

Unfortunately this weekend, and probably the rest of this week is going to be a no-WoW zone for me. Since I seem to be unable to balance my time on WoW on my own, I am going to cut it out until I catch up to my study plan which has been sorely neglected. *sigh* Normally it's not that bad, but first was Lunar Festival followed by Fool for Love (which had me tolling around the Old World, which got me started on Classic Dungeonmaster) now long after FFL is over, I wanted to once and for all get done with Classic Dungeonmaster, which I finally finished last night. So, now, before I get caught up in anything else, I'm pulling the plug until I am where Im supposed to be at with studying for my final-retake (since I failed it the first time and it means whether I am allowed to stay in my major or not)
P.S. Sorry slight vent :)

Off-topic, but is there a high-res version of that picture floating around anywhere? It's awesome.
