A class that already has it? Sir, I do believe you may be mad.
If you are in Shadow form you can't cast healing spells. You can only gain a trickle of health by DPSing cursed targets.
If you are a Priest, you don't have Mail armor.
If you are a Shadow Priest you use a single school of magic that makes you a free HK with a simple school lockout.
If you are a Shadow Priest you have 0 melee ability.
If you are a Shadow Priest you have no pets that do actual damage or can peel players, or passive damage and buff/debuff mechanisms.
Based on the above, the only way you can stay alive is to keep opponents out of melee range... which means you need some type of control.
If you are a Shadow Priest you have 1 (one) baseline form of CC currently, a very weak fear on a long cooldown, and 1 (one) talentable silence, also on a long cooldown.
I'm sorry, but... really... of all the people to pick on, if Shadow Priests aren't the most hobbled right now in PvP they're quite close. Shammies do also have trouble in PvP... but, really, kvetch about DKs or Pallys or Mages or Rogue stunlockery. If all the Spriests in the world disappeared, would PvP really get that much better for Shammies?
