I never said most people don't use Questhelper. What I was protesting was their assumption that Questhelper is one of the indicators of an advanced player, which they were making.

"I agree for the most part, but Auctioneer can help track trends in the overall game economy... I'd place that complex information into a 'data stream I can't otherwise get'."

Tracking item prices and trends isn't too hard. While I agree that without Aucioneer I won't always be getting the exact best deal, I can live with getting 8g for an item instead of 8g, 51s, 32c. I enjoy playing the Auction House on my own, and I feel that if I can't monitor the trends and put items for good prices I don't deserve that 51s 32c.
