Rolling restarts for Tuesday, March 3rd

Tomorrow's downtime should be minimal, with only rolling restarts announced for the morning starting at 5:00 AM PST. Realms should be down, they say, no longer than 15 minutes, so hopefully that will prove true!Maintenance or not, WoW Insider will be here all day as usual. Should something go wrong and we're left serverless for awhile, or you're simply locked at work (or school) for the day, we'll have something to keep you busy and help you slack the day away. Why? Because we love you, baby.

Why... is this topic here? There are 15 minute restarts every Tuesday that there's not a patch, and I don't think anyone was expecting the patch tomorrow.
Not to mention... toilet paper? What? I hope you're not drying your tears with that.

First thing, they've had way more maintenance days than rolling restart days since WotLK came out. Where have you been?
Second thing, and this one is important. If the servers are down, and you see someone sitting at their computer with a roll of toilet paper, DO. NOT. ASK. QUESTIONS. They are killing time in the only way they know how.

Thanks Wowinsider and Alex, Lord knows I need more things to help slack the day away at work...Actually, now that I think about it, it's all because of my favorite blog that I have a busy schedule tomorrow and will probably miss what entertaining things you have to muse about.

Ok, some of us have work/school in the morning and don't pay much attention to maintenance >_> but I'm sure I've seen plenty of 15 minute restarts.
And I had my suspicions about that toilet paper, but I just... oh god... afk

Wowinsider might I suggest you having a diffrent way to access this website. It is blocked at school. I would suggest to either use dyndns.com or just give us your ip. Dyndns is really simple to set up. Thanks fir reading.

Well. I don't know about the rest of you, but on my server any Tuesday night, round about closedown, chat is an constant stream of "How long is server closedown for?" "Is it a restart" 'Is it for 8 hours..", all as if:
- The answer wasn't on your loading screen
- The loading screen was a lie. Other people have "secret" information about the nature of the closedown and will be persuaded to divulge it
- If you ask the same question 2.3 seconds after someone else has, the answer will magically be different amd may even include the words "Yes! The server will close down for 8 hours for everyone but you, and by the way here is a set of free epics and a ticket to the all night NPC-only special jelly wrestling event in Darnassus to fill in those lonely hours..."
So I have no problem with Wowinsider pointing out the obvious, because sometimes the obvious does need to be pointed out.

I've never asked in general or trade but will ask guildies when they log on if they have seen the info. Playing on oceanic they tend to put this info on the loading screen during peak time which = wait times on my realm. No way I'm logging out to find out to fight my way back again. That or I might be in a raid.
However, recently, wowinsider has because really handy for pointing this out which is handy. Many thanks :)
