The Queue: Hawaiian Pizza edition
Welcome back to The Queue, WoW Insider's daily Q&A column where the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today.Today, in addition to all of the questions I'm answering for you, I need all of you to answer a question for me. Hawaiian Pizza: Delicious, or Crazy Delicious? This is an important question, my friends. I need each and every one of you to contribute. It's for the good of mankind. Also, to prove my girlfriend wrong. It rules, does it not?

Evaline asked...
Are there any Ulduar achievements currently on the PTR? I'm guessing they aren't there yet, because we would have heard something about them if there were. Another question if I may, do the bosses on the PTR currently drop loot? Again probably not, for the same reason as above, but can't hurt to ask.
No achievements, no loot. We probably won't see anything about the achievements at all until they've tested all of the bosses they plan on testing at least once. You sort of need to make sure the fight works when doing it regularly before you start coming up with all sorts of crazy things for people to try.
Loot is probably something we'll start seeing a few PTR builds from now. I imagine they have most of the items designed by now but haven't assigned drops to bosses at all. It's pretty likely we won't see most of the drops actually drop until live servers, either. They're using the Shirt of Uber to circumvent gearing issues for testing later bosses.

Any word on new emblem gear becoming available for purchase in 3.1?
There is new Emblem gear being added for the new Emblems, yes. Emblems of Heroism and Emblems of Valor are not getting new items as far as we know. The new Emblems are Emblems of Conquest that drop in Ulduar-25, while Ulduar-10 drops Valor.
In yesterday's PTR patch we started seeing these Conquest items. You can hop on over to that post to check them out.
Eberon asked...
I noticed in Sholazar Basin on a small Island in the lake north of Hesingwary FP (coords 38,37) a small hatch with some numbers on them? Any idea what that might be?
It's a pop culture reference. It's a nod to Lost. Or maybe it's LOST. LoSt? lOsT? I have no idea how that title works.

Why does Blizz make the loading screen (the one of Arthas that you see after selecting a character and zone into the game) impossible to ALT-TAB out of? Am I the only person that finds this annoying? With the longer and longer loading times, if your character is parked in Dalaran, it would be nice to ALT-TAB out and do something other than stare at Arthas' grinning mug for what seems like an eternity.
I assume there's some technical reason for it, but I don't really know for sure. I do know how I avoid staring at the loading screens, though.
If your computer can handle it, go into your video settings and switch over to Windowed Mode. Then Maximize it using the little check box, so it fills your entire screen. If you have a good system (which you might not if your load times are that long) you can continue playing WoW as you always have, except tabbing out will be much easier and much faster. The only problem is that it's a heavier load on your computer. If your PC can handle it, you absolutely should always play in Windowed Mode if you are a chronic alt-tabber like I am. I don't ever look at loading screens. Ever.

Is holy paladin healing an underdiscussed glaring flaw in Blizzard's grand scheme of things?
After my guild's latest Naxx 25-man raid, I went over my numbers in WoW Web Stats. After a near full run, my overheal was around 80%, which is absolutely ridiculous. Or so I thought.
Turns out, after looking at a handful of other WWS reports, nearly every holy pally has an overheal of between 70- and 80-percent, and is topping raw heal done by 20-30% (see http://wowwebstats.com/?npc=i15 ). Are we all healing wrong? What's going on?
It's a given that MT healing requires a lot of overhealing – and that's fine – but has Blizzard really designed the paladin class to only actually heal once for every 5 casts? Are we all just doing something wrong?
Is it possible that Blizzard intends for us to overheal 70-80% of the time as a mana sink, so that prot and ret specs can still get the benefit of abilities like Divine Plea without giving holy specs infinite mana?
I'm not sure what to make of this, really. I know Blizzard has come out with the idea that they want less 'spammy' healing – is this what they're focusing on? Most intriguing of all: why hasn't the community been up in arms about this?
P.S. Looking for a queue response!

I have a lot of trouble raiding in 25mans, whenever we're in combat I DC and in boss fights it's really annoying as my Pitbull unit frames disappear and I have to hit Ctrl+V and run around trying to find the MT.
I'm trying to find a reason for my really bad lag and connection issues. My PC is more than capable of running it on the max resolution with (most of) the settings on max. So could it be that I'm using Recount? I heard from somewhere it increases your latency and in 25mans it must be worse (5mans are ok, 10mans are bearable).
Thanks, any help given is apprieciated.

Hello, I was reading the Quene the other day and a reader asked about Gilneas and the columnist said that all the people were most likely dead which to me would imply that Gilneas was sort of washed up as far as WoW goes. I could be wrong anyway but I do not think that is true at all considering this interview with Chris Metzen from just a few weeks ago.
http://www.blizzplanet.com/blog/comments/chris_metzen_micky_neilson_pocket_star_books_lore_qa_video_interview/
When asked about Gilneas the response is..
"Metzen: Ah, ah, I would say we have some very, very, Very interesting plans for Gilneas. (Metzen docks slightly looking toward the ceiling) But there are snipers up in the roof that would shoot me if you know ... (everyone laughs). We are doing some awesome stuff for Gilneas."
So there it is. On a further note due to it's location and all the changes we are seeing lately (Water mounts, mounts in water) Couple that with the interview from a supposed 3D developer (which I found on WoWinsider) who claimed to work on WoW. He was saying that Uludar would feature a vehicle encounter and described it fairly accuratley and that has been proven true with the release of the PTR. Well he also mentioned the next encounter would play into the maelstrom and Gilneas could be a lauch pad or a major city for that, or anything that would involve some "very, very, Very" interesting plans.
That developed also mentioned that the next content patch would add in more Azol-Nerub which I'm fine with. If the next content patch ends up being Azol-Nerub I wouldn't be surprised if his claims regarding the next expansion turned out to be 100% accurate.
-Keep on a truckin'.

Macintosh = command-M to toggle between windowed and full screen mode. Doesn't get you out of the loading screen if you're already there, but fewer keystrokes every time you want/need to change. :-D

Dear Lord of all Knowledge, bring ye a question!
Me and my friends are 10Man Raiders. We've been farming practicing the current 10Man content since WotLK release but recently entered a few PuG's for 25Man content, much to our surprise we found the content much easier yet but ironically with much higher rewards. After raising this point on the Europe Dungeon/Raids forums I found that shockingly 90% of people agreed with me that the current 25's are easier than the 10's yet offer greater rewards for no real reason. Will Ulduar change all this? Is the 25Man setting a clear step up from the 10Man? And if not then will we be earning the same level of rewards or will the 25Man Raids still have greater rewards for a lesser challenge? Thank you for your time! xxxx

hiya, i have a question regarding hardcore raiding.I really have actually just leveled chars as oppose to getting deep into raiding up till now. I was wondering how much time it takes to become a hardcore raider as the time that i have to play has dramatically reduced since i have recently become a father?

How are we getting the new cooking recipe, Clamlette Manifique? Wowhead says it comes from a quest, but it's not clear that it's reliable here.

Ya. You need a disgusting choice. That's not pizza any more than California Rolls are sushi. Totally gross.
