Or you could download the auctioneer addon which automatically tells you how much an item you scroll over will cost you. Saves me a lot of time.

Agree.Though it didn't work in WotLK at first for me. Guess it needs to get all that information from somewhere first.

Auctioneer is awesome, but it's also a resource hog. I play on a Vista laptop (I know, I know...) and auctioneer locks me up. The itemtooltip addons are much less likely to do that. Also, nice article! After four years I'd picked up most of this, but I will totally confess to doing the "weapon or plate always" thing and not looking at the size of a piece.

@ GessileaI don't think it's because of Vista... don't get me wrong I much prefer XP over Vista, but i so happen to have 2 laptops i bought during the last 2 years, each one has Vista on it and I haven't had a problem running wow on them yet, with all the addons i run. How much Ram do you have on your set up? If you don't have much, you can always turn down alot of your settings ingame and make sure you don't have alot of programs running in the background that is slowing you down. If you havent done so lately check for adware running in the background, that may be a reason its slowing you down as well.Just a thought. Hope it helps.
