The Daily Quest: Of off-specs, Auction Houses and DPS dictates

- Nass at Diaries of a Marksman Hunter posts four basic rules for every DPS Class to follow. You may be thinking that some of these are glaringly obvious, then you end up in the PuG from hell and you realize how a list like this needs to come stapled to the front of every WoW box sold.
- All Things Azeroth posts their latest podcast, #103 with a lively discussion of the current state of Patch 3.1 on the PTR.
- Mania of the most excellent Mania's Arcania is taking advantage of the dual spec and Gear Manager system on the PTR to strip down to nothing in order to get a look at the base stats of various Hunter pets.
- Honor's Code has posted part 3 of their Paladin Off-spec gear building guide. This time he tackles building a DPS set for Tankadins.
- Just My Two Coppers has a prediction on what the next hot item on the Auction House is going to be when Patch 3.1 goes live. Better stock up now.

DPS who don't wait has become my gripe for this week, most definitely.

All Things Azeroth this week was a lot of fun to record, with Matticus and Stompalina guest hosting when Graece wasn't able to make it. I blame Stomp for the first time I have ever needed to use a tone to cover an expletive.

Bah...no more "DPS rules" plz! Tired of em!
Things like "don't die" and "help the raid" I've heard a bajillion times! The people who most often offend the "rulez" (as I will now call them) probably aren't the ones who spend their time online trying to better they're game by reading "DPS rulez" to begin with.

As a heavy hitting DPS class I always go bawls to the walls cause thats how my class is to be played.

Seriously follow these simple rules and you will always come out ahead.
1. If the tank dies and the healer has mana. It is the tanks fault. (Not enough defense, stamina, and dodge)
2. If the tank dies and the healer does not have mana. It is DPSs fault. (Not enough damage applied to the mob to die before mana is out)
3. If the DPS is out of mana and the healer is out of mana and the tank dies. Then and only then it is the healers fault.
