People are arguing about 'skill caps'. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't take much skill to fear someone randomly into a fire wall, and no, if the other team doesn't have a class that has a fear-type ability, then no it is not an equal playing field. Suffice to say that arena is an equal playing field anyway.

It IS fair. You have access to the exact same options as your opponents, and which arena you go to is random. To put it another way:In a fight between a Mage and a Warlock, is the presence of the wall of fire fair to the Mage? No, because the Warlock can fear him into the wall, while he can't use the environment against the Warlock. Is the presence of a wall of fire fair to the guy who's playing the Mage? Yes, because he chose to play a Mage, and if he thinks Warlocks have it better he can reroll.

That makes no sense. You're saying it's fair because they have the option to reroll? It should be fair regardless of class.
