New Spirit Beast discovered on the PTR

According to Beast Lore, Gondria will have Spirit Strike, the Moonfire-like ability unique to Spirit Beasts. Personally, I didn't care much for the spotted Loque'nahak, although I'm sure Matthew's wife disagrees vehemently. This ghostly (spectral?) white tiger looks much sexier, I think, and would go right along with the game's most expensive mount or its aspirational knock-off. So Hunters, you had all better get a lay of the land in Zul'drak, because as soon as Patch 3.1 comes out, the game will be afoot...

Yeah I wish they would make Spirit Beasts that were other animals OTHER than Cats.
Why not bring back the Spirit Wolf? It will have the same stats and abilities as other spirit beasts, but it will have the spirit wolf graphic.

OH YAY!
More skins for hunter pets, CHECK. Any new skins for druids, in development.
Real AoE threat for all hunter tenacity pets, CHECK. A real AoE threat for druids, "swipe is working as intended."
I know BM hunters got screwed recently, but seriously, enough is enough. Can we work on the bears that matter before we give the hunter bears all the love?
On a hunter positive note...
With all the ships that are constantly traveling from Northrend to the eastern kingdoms and Kalmidor, wouldn't it be nice if some rare pets were to find their way to certain areas of the old world for people to kill for an achievement or train? I mean who doens't want 37 lvl 80 hunters riding across the barrens looking for a rhino with a special skin that was somehow transported when it was very young and then introduced back into the wild to be raised by kodos?

Worry not: this is a cheap ass model they threw together in twelve seconds as a way of throwing a bone to Hunters who don't want to farm the other spirit beast. No work actually went into this model.

Granted, it DOES manage to look better than Tauren cat form. A low bar, to be sure, but one it passes.
But Raze's point was that this can't have taken TOO much development time away from more important things, since it's using a model and skin that are already in the game. Which is also true.
Though I'm sure that doesn't mean most Tauren druids wouldn't be quite happy to have this kind of "cheap-ass model" in place of what they have today. :P I presume Blizz's logic is that they ARE working on improved druid forms, and therefore they feel it makes little sense to give druids a throwaway model change in the meantime when they're just going to replace it with something way more awesome anyway.

I agree the druid skins/forms need attetion and I'm not even a druid!
On another note, it's kind of...*scathingly* irritating that they just rehashed an old skin, made it have smokey-blue vapor around it and gave it glowing eyes. One of the reasons I like my Spirit Beast so much is because it's not a traditional cat model, and I happen to like the leopard-like spots on him.
I also agree that some of the spirit beasts should be other types of animals or at the very least have one for each pet tree (Cunning/Ferocity/Tenacity) I don't see why this would be an issue...you would still have to be BM and have to put the point in the exotic pet taming...

I was just talking to a guildie about this tonight, why does blizz have to be so cruel to hunters? They put these sexy spirit beasts in the game that do great dps (now) and only allow BM hunters to train them... BM, the worst tree for hunters. I miss my spirit beast. He's sitting in the stable because there's no point in going back to a spec that has been gutted. FIX BM. This is just cold.

I like Loq's skin better, which is good because I already tamed Loq.
If this new one was like Loq but ghostly, I'd be all over it. But tiger skins bore me, there's too many tiger skins in the game.
