I don't get it. Why does achievements keep you from playing alts? You don't have to go farm points.

I never got the hate that a minority of people give them, they are a completely optional part of the game...

I think you missed the point Orestes. Noraa was making the point that he/she is always so busy chasing achievements that they never get on their alts. In other words, they hate being addicted.

Well, yes. It's OCD. Every time I sit down to play, I think okay, Alt time. I have many characters at 70.

But then, a friend comes on, and I just automatically say, "Want to grind BC reps?"

I can't stop. I hate PVP with a passion, but I can't see myself not trying to go for those, too.

Never had this problem before Achievements came out.

It breaks my heart we can't use the points for cool novelty items.
