As to whether this means we should expect the whole shebang to go live on Tuesday, I still wouldn't bet on it. Not only have there been indications that the devs are willing to delay Noblegarden if they have to to keep testing the patch, It seems like class balancing work still has a bit to go.
With this in mind, it seems most likely that what we're getting now is mostly finalized art and zone files that won't change before the patch goes live. But whether we have one more week or one more month, the preparations are underway. We're one step closer to the Argent Tournament and Ulduar!

Background downloader is just that. I recall a much more WoW savvy friend (the guy I blame for getting me hooked on this game in the first place) that these larger patches often came out about a month before everything was ready.
My guess is we'll then see it the second week of April, just in time for Noblegarden, or at least that's what the devs are currently hoping.
Probably see another minor patch background downloaded as well.

Hopefully we have quite a while left until 3.1 as I really want my proto-drake. :(
Did yet another Undying attempt last night (it's all I have left) and as nearly usual, only one death the whole instance. This time it was due to a second ice block not showing up on Sapp and as a result someone not being able to get to the single ice block in time. Bah!

really, why cant people see its SO obvious share ur P2P untill
people are at least 70% then turn it off cuzz you know
ITS NOT DIRECTLY FROM THE SITE, ther are no downloading from blizzard, itself unless you are haxxing it, in that case
you are a member or a well gifted person in taking (thru legal terms) which parts of the patch , before live day, which to take.
I'm just saying the MORE people go p2p in these patches the better off....I had to wait 10 hours one day for
3.0.1 to come out and wow that was horrible but the
same night.. I was able to LOG in.
So please, take the time and p2p as well you KNOW
people are sharing this patch anyway, and its offloaded from other people......THE MORE THE PEOPLE the more the avaiable content, and there fore----- LESS TIME---->
