Usdom, does Inscription count as a crafting skill?Because I've made approx. 28,000 gold from it since 3.0 landed. I'mnot sure what the opportunity cost of skilling it up from my herbstockpile was, but no way was it more than a couple of thousand. You fail at moneymaking. But please, keep giving people your advice. Because it's the people who follow it that are buying my glyphs.

I couldn't agree with you more. There are at least 2 members of my guild that have made more than double the previous amount just by leveling JC when wrath hit and keeping up with it with cuts people needed, etc. Hell, this is the reason I just leveled JC because apparently blacksmithing doesn't pull the same weight in terms of profit. It should not be said that all crafting professions cost more than they are worth. There are some that have other benefits, where making gold isn't one of them. There are some where the benefits to you kicks ass(Jewelcrafting), and you can make a killing. There is also at least one where the benefit is negligible, and you still won't make much money(Tailoring, unless enough people have dropped it by now to make the price of the leg enchants skyrocket.)This being said, I have two crafting professions on my main due to the edge in PVE. I am not bone dry on gold ever. I craft, sell my crafts, and buy mats and I'm still able to turn a decent profit. I disagree with usdom, except for the fact that blizzard wants your money(duh).
