I just went to Outland at 67. 67! All the content from vanilla WoW took me to just a hair over 67. I couldn't believe I had gotten that far when I finished up Silithus. I dinged 70 in Terrokar Forest. I'm 71 now and halfway to 72 having just finished up Blade's Edge Mountains with Nagrand, Netherstorm, and Shadowmoon left to plow through, plus almost all the Outland instances (I've only done Hellfire Ramparts and Blood Furnace thus far). I have no idea where I'm going to quite be before I head to Northrend. I'm guessing somewhere in 73, 74 at *most*. But I'm glad I'm doing it this way. No running back through old world sans flight at 80 trying to figure out which quests I missed for Loremaster or getting Explore achievements (done and done before 65, with ease). And it means less time being taunted without flight in Northrend after getting used to it in Outland. My only exception to Northrend content is Jewelcrafting and Cooking dailies.I can't imagine having a Vanilla-wow only server, but the one thing I'd love to see implemented is occasionally re-creating certain events in the game so that I could actually experience them (Gates of AQ, Opening of the Dark Portal) that were before my time or way too high level for me when I was playing. It's taunting to see those achievements and stumble onto the quest lines on wowhead for those knowing I can never do them and experience that excitement.
