The game has come a long way since it started. But to not look back and miss some of the things that were in vanilla and BC that have gone means you either barely played the game (being casual) or you never played the game at all back then. That's not to say one is better then the other but it's a completely different game then it was at the start. You might as well Call Wrath Wow 2 if you set them side by side.Sure there were problems then just as new problems are now. But nothing beat walking in and toppling massive monsters that genuinely increased in difficulty and ingenuity of Vanilla wow. Sure we've grown as players but the fights so far in Wrath have been nothing short of uninspiring.Hopefully Ulduar fixes this and makes some genuinely fun boss fights but something tells me that it won't happen to the scale it was before. Things can't be complicated or require precision or skill to beat unless their optional since most people can't kill them. So yes the people who joined this game, got addicted to this game as raiders from the beginning look back with fond memories of the launch of BWL, AQ40, and Naxx and the fights that pushed players to do it better then they did before in genuinely new ways. Am i going to stop playing the game? Quite possibly if ulduar can't spark the joy that raiding once did. Am i mad at blizzard for pushing me away from the game, no but i'm a little sad by it. You cater the game to the people playing it and that's the way it is.
