Phat Loot Phriday: Armageddon

Name: Armageddon (Wowhead, Thottbot, WoWDigger)
Type: Epic Two-hand Sword
Damage/Speed: 554-831 / 3.40 (203.7 DPS)
Attributes:
- First, just look at that thing. This is clearly a sword that, when swung in an arcward manner, brings all sorts of death and destruction.
- +101 Strength, and +108 Stamina, which is (definitely not the first weapon ever, but) the first weapon I've seen that has two triple-digit buffs.
- Improves crit strike rating by 58, and haste rating by 100
- This weapon is for anyone who wants to do melee damage (and even for you Death Knights with your crazy two-hand tanking) and can wield a giant two-hander. Warriors especially.
- And speaking of Warriors, the sword isn't unique at all. So yes, if you have specced Titan's Grip, you can dual wield two of these things at the same time. Nuts? Yes. But wait until you see a Gnome do it.
Win the roll against other two-hand wielders of destruction (Hunters, seriously, don't even try), and the sword is yours.
Getting Rid of It: Sells back to vendors for 24g 76s 82c, though you won't be getting rid of it until Ulduar, and even then, just look at it! This is one for the bank. Will also, in case you don't have a drooling Arms Warrior in your raid, disenchant into an Abyss Crystal.

I would like to add that pretty much ANY warrior and for that matter anybody who can use a 2 handed sword would want one of these, if only for the look.

I would rather it be an Abyss Crystal than it be in the hands of a hunter.

The terrifying thing is that you know, SOMEWHERE in this game on a server on some forgotten area...there IS a hunter with this weapon...

As a pally, the 3.4 swing speed makes me sad.

And like everything, it looks ridiculous on a gnome.

There is a NE warrior in my guild that duel wields these. Every raid I think how tough that looks!

I love how this sword looks. Put in on a draenei paladin and he's ready to destroy the entire Legion single-handedly.

I ran 25 man Naxx the other night hoping this would drop...but hardly anything for a DK dropped :(

I am a dedicated pve'er, but...
What in god's name is an "arms warrior"? What, they fight with their arms or something? A rare any mystical beast perhaps? In either case, never seen one.

"...in an arcward manner"
Or, if it's a gnome, in an awkward manner!
Amirite?

I got it as a super rare drop off of gluth and absolutely love it, you throw a razorice rune on it and it is pure badassery.

I dunno, the edges look bretty blunt and chipped in those screenshots...
Must be one of those 'knock your enemies senseless' swords.

With all the rough-cut stone and rope, it looks like something that MacGyver would have come up with in a closet somewhere.
Not that that's a bad thing though.
