Level restrictions hotfixed into Wintergrasp

The Wintergrasp PvP zone now has two level restrictions in place:
- You must be level 70 or higher to count towards the tenacity tally, obtain the tenacity buff, and get credit for a victory or defeat.
- You must be level 50 or higher to be able to use the portal of Wintergrasp.
For the majority of us however, this change won't have any real effect. Interesting nonetheless. Don't forget that there are several upcoming changes to Wintergrasp in Patch 3.1; including a world wide timer and a new raid boss.

Lol.
People on the Horde side on Thrall might know Syfie, or me. I attended a lot of the Wintergrasp battles at levels 20-40. Most people were nice and other people got mad at me and never invited me to there raid groups.
Anyway, can a Warlock just summon a lowbie into Wintergrasp? This may not be true, but I don't know.

not much of a leeching actually.
i have been going WG on my alt since lvl 10 or so. ok, i did have to leech the first few HKs, but as soon as i hit the tank, i was as valid a member of the raid as any - often better performing, especially if sat behind a cannon.
the insecurity of running around almost naked (a nearby DK happens to fart, yer dead) gave one a feeling of great appreciation and dedication to the job once in a vehicle/cannon.
the HKs were imba, of course ;), though you need additional marks for most of it on the low levels.

I see a lot of lowbies in WG, it always causes a major uproar when one joins a pug raid. In the grand scheme of things though, it seems pretty minor.
The ridiculous geometry exploits though.... that I'd be interested in finally seeing fixed. It's not like it's hard to win, even if you are on the perpetually lower-numbered side. Especially with some of the doorknobs on our side showing up to defend.
