Wow, way to beat the hell out of that strawman!!! Very impressive. I think a rant is the best way to describe this article; one sided, irrational, and completely devoid of objective thought.

Actually they said this was not for every situation..As an officer in a raiding guild in some form for the past year, I agree with the sentiment he presented. Yes, feedback from members of the guild is VITAL to a successful guild. But there is a huge difference between Feedback and someone bitching because they don't feel like their egos are stroked enough. This article is aimed at the latter.In every guild there will be players who will complain about the officers constantly. Either they will complain to the officers themselves (we have a designated QQ officer) or they will complain to others members about it, but when the officers confront them and ask them 1) What's wrong 2)How do your think we can make it better, they will clam up.Then you have the people who complain in guild chat for whatever reason about something THEY could fix, so you ask them if they would like to take responsibility for that to see it through, and they decline.It is a good thing if members want to take an active role in managing the guild, but complaining about it and doing nothing is never a good thing and it is NEVER warranted.
